Hotel

Our hotel offers free shuttle-service within a five-mile radius of the hotel, and that incorporates most of these local attractions as well as AMTRAK, Eppley Airfield, and Omaha’s Old Market.

Planned Activities

We will have two prototype railroad tours. At the hotel, there will be two clinic tracks on modeling and rail history along with the modeling, switching and photo contests. The hotel will also host Saturday night's banquet as well as the MCoR Board Meeting on Saturday morning and the MCoR Membership meeting after the completion of the banquet.

The area is also home to a number of well-developed model railroads which will be open for tours. The list of operating sessions has been finalized and interest parties should sign up by visiting the contacts page.

Shops and Shows

Speaking of models, several brick and mortar hobby shops are thriving in the area for your shopping convenience. Layouts and dealers will be on hand at the Ralston, Nebraska Arena during the Nebraska-Iowa Railroaders annual train show and swap meet to be held at the same time as our convention, and is within the metropolitan area, in easy driving distance.
